PRICES AND ORDERING

I offer a vast range of linguistic services as well as service levels. The easiest and fastest way to estimate your project pricing and the deadline is to submit a quote or contact me with your project specifics.

My minimum charge is €30, and our prices start from €0.09/source word for the least expensive language pairs and the lowest service level. For ordering information and more details on the factors determining the price, please check the below categories.

Language Pair(s)

Croatian to English ( United States) and English ( US) to Croatian.

Deadlines

When you place a quote, I have to estimate the time needed to complete the project. In some cases, I will need to contact you for more information about the project before sending you the quote.

Quote isn’t legally bonding unless signed by you and me.

Alternatively, if you have a set deadline of your own, contact me or state this in your quote, even if very tight. In most cases, I can accommodate my clients’ rush projects.

In some cases of rush jobs, I might need to add a surcharge of  50%. For related questions, please refer to contact form.

Nature of the text

Another important factor is the level of technicality of your project.

File formats

For scanned documents or formats in which the words cannot be counted, I will first need to extract the text and contact you with a quote. Depending on the scanned document’s size and quality, the quote may take between one hour and one day. However, I will contact you as soon as possible to confirm that I am working on your quote.

Level of Service and Project Specifics

The pricing depends on the nature of the service (please, check our Services) and the level of the service you need, e.g., draft or certified translation.

If your service needs certified translation, I will suggest some of the field’s most experienced colleagues.

Pricing Policy Transparency

There are no hidden charges. I estimate the price at the beginning of each project, and the initial price is NOT subject to any changes by either of the parties.

Discounts

Repetitions, previously translated segments

For most language pairs and subject domains, we offer discounts for repetitions and 100% matches both across the file and against any approved translation memory provided to you by third parties or a memory created by DalmataServices. This applies to projects exceeding 5000 words per language pair.

Using the most advanced technology and CAT tools, I substantially reduce your repetitive words and segments’ expenses.

Large Projects

I offer additional discounts that can be negotiated for projects exceeding 50 000 words in one language pair for any 30 days period. It is applicable only for invoices settled within 14 days of project completion and delivery.

Currency and Payment Methods

I accept EUR via bank transfer and check.

I accept EUR via bank transfer and Western Union. Currently, I do not accept PayPal and Moneybookers.

  • Payment Terms

You have 15 days to resolve any deemed issues related to the received service and 14 days to pay the provided service’s full invoice amount.

According to my policy, projects from individuals require full advance payment.

VAT and other taxes

All my prices are exclusive of VAT or any other taxes which may be incurred.

Ordering Services

1. Submit a quote

Please fill out my contact form or contact me on [email protected] with your project details and upload the files for translation, localization, validation, etc. (whatever your requested service is).

2. Receive a quote

I will send you a quote as soon as possible, usually within the same day, including price, deadline, and other relevant details, along with the applicable my terms and conditions.

If you order a complex large-volume translation or documents in an unusual format, I might need more time to send you our offer. In such a case, I will still contact you to confirm that I am working on your quote. Please, check your “Spam” box if you do not hear from me soon.

3. Confirm the quote

Upon receiving your written confirmation of my offer via email, I will start working on your assignment.

4. Receive the requested service

You will receive the requested service within the agreed deadline, along with an invoice from me. You have 7 days to resolve any deemed issues related to the received service and 14 days to pay the provided service’s full invoice amount.

According to my policy, projects from individuals require full advance payment.
